I. The Overview of Refining Furnace Transformer
由于要把电极浸入渣中,电弧较短,所以变压器输出电压较低,而电流很大。加热时炉子电弧很稳定,电流波动很小。为了适应炉况的变化,精炼炉变压器均为有载调压,满足这一特殊要求。
钢包精炼炉与炼钢电弧炉一样,使用三相交流电源,通过石墨电极的埋弧加热,进行熔钢升温和熔渣以及合金的熔化。因为加热的对象是已熔化的钢液,钢包直径比电弧炉小得多,钢包精炼炉变压器的功率比同吨位的电弧炼钢炉变压器为低。
Because we have to dip the electrode into the slag and the electric arc is relatively short, the transformer's output voltage is relatively low but current is very large. When heating, the furnace's electric arc is very steady and the current fluctuation is very small. In order to adapt to the change of furnace condition, all Refining Furnace Transformer are on-load voltage regulation.
The same as the Steel-making Arc Furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace uses three-phase alternating current supply and proceed molten steel warming as well as slag and alloy melting through graphite electrode's submerged arc heating.
Because the heating object is molten steel and the diameter of the steel ladle is much smaller than that of electric arc furnace, the power of the Ladle Refining Furnace Transformer is lower than the same tonnage's Steel-making Arc Furnace Transformer.
