II. The Function of Electroslag Furnace Transformer
电渣炉变压器专供生产航空承钢、高温合金、电阻合金、精密合金和某些有色金属等，还可用来生产大型优质合金钢锭、大型扁锭或板坯及其它特殊的异形铸件等电渣炉电源之用。
Electroslag Furnace Transformer is specially manufactured for producing aviation steels, high temperature alloy, electric resistance alloy, precision alloy and some non-ferrous metals. It can still be used to produce large high-quality alloy steel ingot, large slab ingot or slab and other special abnormal shape castings which are used for electroslag furnace power source.

III. The Structural Feature of Electroslag Furnace Transformer
电渣炉变压器均无电抗器。电渣冶金和电弧炼钢不同，当直接用电极加辅助钢屑的方法起弧造渣时，仅在开始阶段有电弧，造渣完毕后就转变为一个基本无弧的电渣过程，这个过程一直延续到熔炼结束，电渣炉电源的变压器需要低的空载电压和小的阻抗电压。电渣炉变压器低压电压要有调压级数。
All Electroslag Furnace Transformer have no reactors. Electroslag metallurgy is quite different from electric arc steel-making. When we directly use the method of electrode adding auxiliary steel cuttings to start arc and slagg , it only has electric arc at the initial stage. After the slagging, it will turn into a basically non-arcing electroslag process. This process will last until the end of the smelting. The electroslag source's transformer needs a low no-load voltage and small impedance voltage. Electroslag Furnace Transformer's low voltage needs voltage regulating progression.

1、无励磁无载调压；
2、有励磁无载调压；
3、有载调压。
不论采用何种调压方式均通过高压线圈上的开关调节。
1. No extension no-load voltage regulation.
2. Extension no-load regulation.
3. On-load Voltage regulation
No matter applys what kinds of voltage regulating modes, all need to be regulated by the switches on the high voltage coils.
